The Assessor is responsible for (1) creating an equitable assessment roll to be used to raise revenue to satisfy the Town, County, and School property tax levy; (2) satisfying the taxpaying public's questions regarding their involvement and responsibility as it pertains to their property assessments and tax bills; (3) qualification of all real property tax exemptions; (4) valuation of all new construction and demolition; and (5) coordinate tax bills with the Town Tax Collector.
