The Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining
seven Town buildings and facilities, nineteen park areas, twelve
park districts, three Town pools and other public areas associated
with the Town or parkland, such as the Vischer Ferry Nature
Preserve. Additionally we maintain all town vehicles.
The importance of this department is evident when you see the level
of maintenance and care taken throughout Town. Buildings and Grounds
are the "behind the scenes" guys, supporting the "July 4th
Celebration", "Sunday in the Park" stage performances, summer
recreation programs, "Farm Fest", the "Catiebug for a Cure" and many
other Town sponsored functions. We strive to maintain a high level
of care to the parks, facilities and special projects as expected by
the residents of Clifton Park.
