The Assessor is responsible for (1) creating an equitable assessment roll to be used to raise revenue to satisfy the Town, County and School property tax levy; (2) satisfying the taxpaying publics questions regarding their involvement and responsibility as it pertains to their property assessments and tax bills; (3) qualification of all real property tax exemptions; (4) valuation of all new construction and demolition; and (5) coordinate tax bills with the Town Tax Collector.
NOTICE: The Assessors Office continually data collects information on all improvements made to a piece of property. We are physically out in the field measuring and recording information on these improvements. We are also taking digital photos of all improvements.

The complaint form should be mailed or delivered, on or before Tuesday, May 24, 2016, Grievance Day to Clifton Park Assessor’s Office, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Clifton Park, NY 12065. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Assessor’s Office at (518) 371-6460.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on Monday through Friday, from 10:00am to 3:30pm, beginning May 2nd, and ending May 20th. He will also be in attendance on Monday May 9th between the hours of 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, May 7th, between 9:00am to 1:00pm.
The Tentative Assessment Roll will be published on May 1st and available to the public during normal Assessment Office hours. It will be on the Saratoga County Assessment Database (the link is on the Clifton Park Assessor’s webpage) by May 10th.
The State Equalization Rate is 58.00%.
The Uniform Percentage of Value (LOA) is 58.00%.
The Residential Assessment Ratio (RAR) is 53.58%.
