There are three municipal pools in the Clifton Park
community, which have hosted thousands of families for over thirteen
years. The pools are used for recreational, athletic and social events
for all ages. They provide a place for meeting and making friends. All
the pools offer a large main pool, a diving area, a separate "kiddy"
pool for young children and comfortable outdoor chairs. Membership is
available on a first come, first serve basis, to all area residents and
includes unlimited visits to all three facilities, all season long.
Membership applications will not be accepted at the pools. They can be
submitted online, by mail or in person at Town Hall's Office of Parks,
Recreation and Community Affairs. All members (except children under
four) must have a photo ID taken after joining. You must have a new ID
picture taken each year. ID photos will be taken at Locust Lane
Clubhouse for Barney Road and Locust Lane members. ID Photos for members
of the Country Knolls pool will be taken at the Country Knolls Pool
Clubhouse.
The Country Knolls and Barney Road pools will be open
daily from Sunday, May 25 through Monday, September 1, The Locust Lane
Pool will be open weekends beginning May 25 and will begin daily
operation in mid-June and be open through Labor Day. The pools open at
