Boscov’s Gift Wrapping for Donations:

We made around $80.00 at the gift wrapping! It was a messy day outside but we still had customers. Thanks to all who volunteered. 

Boscov's Shoppers Helpers: Several clubwomen helped shoppers and we will get compensated by Boscov's for our help. 

First Night Saratoga– We had 8 people working 2 and 3-hour shifts at the Library. It was a nice night and we had fun. Thank You to all volunteers and those men who helped out.

General Meeting – April 12:  at  CAPTAIN, 5 Municipal Plaza, Suite 3. PLEASE ARRIVE BY 7;00 so we can begin promptly at 7:15, and be out by 9:15. CAPTAIN shares a building with the Public Safety Dept. and is located on the south side of MAXWELL Rd, across the road from Ruby Tuesday’s side parking lot. Going south on Maxwell from Rt. 146, take first right into their lot.

Board Meeting: Thursday April 26, 7:30 at Mary Ellen Caruso’s

 

SPRING COUNTY MEETING: WE ARE HOSTESSING on Saturday April 14 at the Mohawk Country Club. $20.00 and Club will probably chip in! Registration and coffee hour starts at 9:00, meeting at10:00. Signed up so far: Julia Balducci, Linda dCH, Irene Easton, June Furst, Ann Gehres, Diane Harper, JoAnn Levy, Carol Rodino. Maybe: Mary Ellen Caruso, Esther Eyer, Carol Ewing, Paula Gilligan. Please let JoAnn Levy or Kathy Quail know if you are attending by Tuesday, the 10th. We need to give them the final count by Wednesday. We will collect the money at the meeting.

NOTE: We will sign up at the meeting to bake breakfast-y items since that was not included in the $20.00. Coffee is provided.

Boscov’s Gift Wrapping for Donations:

Not-for-Profits can wrap gifts for donations at Boscov’s: we have signed up for Sunday Dec 17 from 10 to 5. Boscov’s provides all supplies: To volunteer call or email  Irene Stevenson or email Linda deCruz-Harper.

 

First Night Saratoga– Work a 2-hour shift between 6 and midnight. The rest of the night you are free to see the other acts. If interested call Linda deCruz-Harper, we need 12 volunteers to man our venue from last year. If less we will volunteer at another venue.   

  

Ways and Means:  Kathy Barshied has Entertainment 2007 books - they are $30.00 and make great Holiday gifts.

Thanksgiving family - sign up at the meeting.  There will be a box at CAPTAIN for the food which has to be there by noon Nov. 22nd.
Christmas Party - Thursday December 8th at Spruce's house.  Start thinking about crafts for the silent auction.
Christmas list for the Adopt a Family will be available at the meeting.
We will again will be making and filling stockings for the girls at St. Ann's.

APR.14. - General Meeting 7:15 pm at the Rexford Firehouse. Hostesses are Arlene and Esther.  John Zumbo of Cinnamon and Spice will give a cake decorating demonstration.  We will also be discussing end of year donations.
The birthday party at St. Ann’s was a great success – 110 girls plus staff were served cake, ice cream and soda.

Convention – Binghamton, April 29th to May 1st .

ANTIQUE SHOW - Tentative figures $3,900(?)from the door and $1,000 from the food booth before all bills have been paid.  The show was a success because of the members who worked so hard. Also a special thanks to all the husbands who helped with the show.
