Join Us!Membership cost is $20 per year. Renewal time is here! Must be 18 years or older, artist or non-artist alike. Membership includes no guest fee to monthly meetings and monthly newsletter as well as participation in a variety of events. Please email ssas12065@yahoo.com. Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the The Commons in the Center Gallery (Adult Center), 6 Clifton Court, Clifton Park. Any day meetings will be held on the third thursday at 3:30pm. Guest Fee -- $2.00
Monthly Meetings which include demonstrations and/or discussions on various media interspersed with occasional mini-workshops.
Art About Town gives members the opportunity to have their work displayed in public venues such as local banks, offices, libraries and other public buildings.
Member Art Shows include the annual Autumn Jewels Exhibit which features awards and monetary prizes. (A 10% commission on the price of any artwork sold at a society show is due to the Society and will be deducted from the sale price.)
Workshops are presented by recognized, well known artists in a variety of mediums.
Monthly Newsletter includes information on current and future Society meetings and activities. Tips and tricks to help you improve your art endeavors and a list of websites that you might find interesting and useful.
Social get-togethers give the members an opportunity to mingle on a social level and exchange thoughts and ideas at various art receptions, particularly at our annual Holiday Party.
Community Support - The Society contributes to the Shenendehowa Senior Citizens Annual Art Show for Senior Citizens.
