Join us for our first Plein Air of 2010 in the gardens of Diane Steele, Waterford, NY. With more than 50 individual beds and many garden rooms, there is much to sketch, paint, photograph, or just a quiet place to take in nature. Undistrubed woodland and the Mohawk River provide the backdrop for the created environs of ponds with goldfish, cascades, arbors of roses, grapes and sweet peas, railroad ironwork, and flowering trees, shrubs, and perennials to inspire. Rain date: Tues., May 18. Bring your own lunch or participate in a covered dish luncheon. Beverages are provided.
