Hundreds of post-secondary educational institutions across the country enhance the value of Dollars for Scholars awards by agreeing not to adjust their grants and/or scholarships but instead, where necessary, to adjust the self-help portion of a student's financial aid package (loans and/or work-study). Many of these colleges are also "Matching Partners" - they have agreed to match the scholarships from Dollars for Scholars chapters. NYS Collegiate Partners - Matching Schools* Bryant and Stratton* Besides the above, hundreds of colleges across the country participate in this program; e.g., New England Culinary Institute, Norwich and St. Michael's College* in VT; Allegheny*, Carnegie Mellon+, Univ. of Pittsburgh+ in PA; Sacred Heart*, Univ. of CT* and Wesleyan Univ.+ in CT; St. Anselm College+*(NH), Bryant University* (RI), Stonehill College+*(MA), Wentworth Institute of Technology* (MA). E-mail us if you have any questions or wish to check out a particular college. +Partners Plus schools continue to reduce the self-help portion of the student's financial aid package (loans and work-study) beyond the contractual limit of $1,000 for all Collegiate Partners. |
