Pond Opening Information - Start up your pumps & filters as soon as the ice is off the pond.
- Start feeding the fish when your average weekly water temperature (AWWT) is 60° with a low temperature food.
- Clean any debris out of the pond when the AWWT is 55° or above.
- Start feeding lilies & other hardy plants as soon as you see new growth.
- Add submerged plants when the AWWT is above 55°
- Add tropical plants when all danger of frost is gone.
- Bacteria additives can be started at different AWWT's: AP Pondzyme @ 45°, Microbe Lift @ 55°, Biological Clarifier @ 60°
