| "Wild, Wild West" Photography Show |

End Time: 4:00 PM Contact Person: Cynthia Hedger - Director Phone: 696-3423 Description: The photography show,"The Wild, Wild West," will be on display the entire month of July, at the Hadley Luzerne Public Library, 19 Main Street. (696-3423). Campers welcomed! Great rainy day activity! It's all about the Western image, in this show. Come sign the artist guest book. See you at the artists reception, Saturday, July 10th, from Noon - 2PM! All are welcomed! Come as you are! Bring a picnic and sit on the lawns next to the river and falls - a wonderful experience. Visit the Chamber of Commerce too, a quaint old home , restored, with beautiful picnic grounds, walking distance also. The library opens at 9 am, everyday, except Sunday. It closes at 4 PM, except for Tuesdays and Thursdays, where closing is at 7 and Saturday, closing is at 2 PM. Sign the guest book too! See you at Sues artist reception. Bring/wear your old silver and turquoise! Suzie is a member of the Southern Saratoga Artists Society and Saratoga Arts. Many photographs are award winning. |

| Secret Gardens Tour in Saratoga Springs July 11 |

Contact Person: Lorrie Anthony Phone: 518-899-5086 Description: A mix of striking urban and suburban gardens in Saratoga Springs highlight the 16th annual Secret Gardens Tour from 11 am to 5 pm sunday, July 11. Tickets may be pre-ordered beginning June 22.
The self-guided tour is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Saratoga County to benefit local organizations and programs such as Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County. Included on the self-guided tour are sophisticated, hidden city gardens and surprising suburban gardens, with water features and landscaping to accommodate both sun and shade.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the tour. To request an order form or for more information, contact Lorrie Anthony at 899-5086 or go to www.soroprimistsaratoga.org.
Also available are raffle items that include a one-night stay at the Batchellor Mansion Inn, Brunch for two at Gideon Putnam authentic Adirondack chairs, a Wild Birds Unlimited decorative item, an autographed book on gardens in Saratoga Springs and gift certificates from numerous garden centers.
Pre-ordered tickets may be picked up starting July 11 or on the day of the tour at the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center, 297 Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
Soroptimist International of Saratoga County is part of an international organization with 95,000 members in 120 countries and territories. Soroptimist is a volunteer service organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. WHO: Open to all boys and girls ages 8-13 as of April 1, 2011

TIME: Registration starts at 6:00pm - Rain or shine
COST: FREE of charge!!!
• Three Age Groups for Competition (Age as of April 1, 2011)
o 8 and 9 years old
o 10 and 11 years old
o 12 and 13 years old
• Girls and Boys compete separately.
• Winner in each age group.
• Age is determined by age of the contestant on April 1, 2011
Clifton Park Elks Lodge #2466 are going to try something new this year and hold its Hoop Shoot qualifier after the Town of Clifton Park's annual "Night Out Against Crime", to Promote Community Safety and organized youth activities. The town has requested Albany Coach Will Brown to conduct a skills clinic and coordinate a basketball foul shooting contest. The Elks qualifier will start after the town event under the lights, rain or shine, at the Clifton Park Commons basketball courts on Tuesday, August 3! Registration starts at 6:00pm.
The Hoop Shoot is America’s largest non-commerical co-educational sports program and has served to highlight the Elks commitment to youth. Winners and their parents also travel to state, regional and national competition, courtesy of the Elks. One parent commented, “we can't say enough positive things about the Clifton Park Elks and the Hoop Shoot Contest".
Hoop Shoot funding is provided by the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the USA.
