| Vacation Bible School - SonQuest Rainforest |
Event Location: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4 Northcrest Drive, Clifton Park
Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Time: 12:00 PM Contact Person: Cheryl Fiore Phone: 371-2226 Description: Prince of Peace Lutheran and St. George’s Episcopal Churches invite all children in the community (ages 3 – 10) to join in the fun by coming to SonQuest Rainforest. Kids will learn about the ways God loves them while having a great time singing songs, watching skits, creating crafts, and playing games. A snack is also offered. Registration forms are available on the Prince of Peace website or by calling the Prince of Peace Church office (On the registration form, it is not necessary to indicate any church if you choose not to nor is it necessary to be a member of any church). Charge is $20 per child to cover the cost of supplies. If your family is experiencing a financial hardship which would prevent your child(ren) from attending, please let us know. Please also feel free to call the Church office with any questions. |

You’re never too young to start writing. So, why wait? Use this summer break as a time to get started. Put your hopes, secrets, and fears into writing and learn writing techniques that will help you for the rest of your life. Come meet new people and share your work with a supportive audience. Bring a notebook, a pen and your ideas! Limit 8 students.
Instructor: Robyn Ringler's articles have been published in the Albany Times Union, Newark Star-Ledger and have been sent out over the New York Times wire. She has written regularly for Nursing Spectrum and has contributed to the Philosophical Mom webzine and other publications. She has read her personal essays on Northeast Public Radio, Martha Stewart Radio, The Health Show and 51%, nationally syndicated radio programs. Robyn has also published essays in two prominent anthologies: Women's Letters: America from the Revolutionary War to the Present, published by Dial Press,and Stories of Illness and Healing: Women Write Their Bodies, published by Kent State University Press. |
