| Towns host bulk waste pickup |

End Time: 7:00 PM Contact Person: Town Hall Phone: 1(518) 371-6651 Description: County Waste will conduct a curbside bulk waste collection free to Clifton Park residents beginning April 28 and concluding May 25. Residents will receive a notice in the mail several days prior to their collection week indicating their pickup-week and describing the items acceptable as bulk waste. Residents are asked to place bulk items on the curb by 7 p.m. on the Sunday evening of their assigned week. It will take up to seven days to pick up all items.
No household trash or hazardous materials will be collected (e.g.: fuels, paints, chemicals, tires, computer monitors or TVs, air conditioners). Hazardous materials will be collected during the town’s free Hazardous Waste day in September. Residents can sign up for Hazardous Waste Day on Cliftonpark.org. Yard waste will not be collected as part of this service. Residents that live in apartment complexes are asked to contact their property managers for scheduling information and drop off areas within the complex.

The book not only covers history of the Environmental Center but also of how environmental consciousness in the United States has evolved. Copies of the book will be available for sale.
