The
centerpiece of the Saratoga Automobile Museum's extremely popular exhibit of the
Cars of Carroll Shelby, an extremely rare Daytona Coupe currently valued at $6
million that won at Sebring and was the fastest at LeMa
ns,
will be returning to its owner in Philadelphia on November 18th.
While the other Ford Mustangs and Shelby's in the extensive Golub Gallery
exhibit will remain, museum officials have decided to mark the occasion by
admitting all Ford owners free until November 18th. Visitors can simply present
their current registration for any vehicle manufactured by Ford Motor Co. to
receive one free admission to the museum, open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am
to 5 pm. Other visitors will still be admitted for the $7 adult or $5 senior
admission charge.
The Saratoga Automobile Museum, which also features the Sprockets to Rockets
Garage, East of Detroit and Racing Across New York exhibits, is located on the
Avenue of the Pines in the Saratoga Spa State Park.
