On Monday, June 16, 2003,
The Town of Clifton Park, Town Board, by unanimous vote, passed two
resolutions honoring Shenendehowa Championships Sports Teams. First, the New
York State Class A Girls Softball Champions: the 2003 Shen Varsity girls were
presented with a resolution honoring their outstanding achievements and their
winning attitude. coach Dan D'Amboise summarized their season and their record
breaking 12 inning win at the Clifton Common on June 8, 2003.
Second, was the Section II and Regional Lacrosse Champions - the Shenendehowa
Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. Coach Mark McQuade noted the team's undefeated
sectional record and its back to back appearance in the State's Lacrosse "Final
Four" playoffs. Two Shen lacrosse players were named Lacrosse All- Americans,
Victor Barger and Casey Lewis elected by regional high school coaches.
